Semi-Potted Design for Enhanced Reliability in 500W Applications

The ARFN500 continues ARCH’s proven semi-potted design from the ARF500 series, encapsulating critical high-stress and heat-generating components to improve durability and operational stability under high power conditions.
Compared to conventional open-frame power supplies, this design minimizes the impact of vibration, dust, and humidity while reducing thermal stress during long-term operation. Compared to fully potted designs, it maintains superior heat dissipation and system integration flexibility.

Upgraded from Equipment-Level to Grid-Level Application (OVC III)

A key upgrade of the ARFN500 is its compliance with Over-Voltage Category III (OVC III), enabling direct use in power distribution systems and industrial electrical environments rather than being limited to internal equipment applications. This allows the power supply to withstand higher transient voltages and electrical disturbances, improving system safety while reducing the need for additional protection circuitry.

Enhanced Immunity for Stable Operation in Harsh Environments

To address surge and electromagnetic interference commonly found in industrial environments, the ARFN500 significantly improves EMS performance, including higher levels of surge and ESD protection.
